1. Agreement and Company Information

These Terms of Service ("Terms") constitute a legally binding agreement between you and PetDetail, LLC, a Florida limited liability company located at 100 E Pine St, Suite 110, PMB 6107, Orlando, FL 32801 ("PetDetail," "we," "us," or "our"). By creating an account or using our service, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

2. Service Description

PetDetail is a comprehensive pet health tracking and management platform that allows users to:

• Maintain digital health records for their pets

• Track medications, vaccinations, health events, weight trends, and reminders (one-time and recurring)

• Maintain a daily care journal with meals, walks, activities, and streak tracking

• Store and organize veterinary documents with folders and advanced search (Premium plan only)

• Export pet health reports as PDF (Premium plan only)

• Upload and manage pet photos with organization tools

• Real-time notifications and an email reminder system

• AI-powered features including background removal/image processing and health insights (Premium plan only)

Important: PetDetail provides data management tools and AI-generated content for informational purposes only. We do not provide veterinary advice or medical recommendations.

3. Eligibility and Account Requirements

You must be at least 18 years old to create a PetDetail account. Our service is currently available only to users located in the United States. By creating an account, you represent and warrant that:

• You are at least 18 years of age

• You have the legal capacity to enter into this agreement

• All information you provide is accurate and complete

• You will maintain the security of your account credentials

Account Security: Passwords must be at least 8 characters and include uppercase, lowercase, a number, and a symbol. To protect against brute-force attacks, accounts are temporarily locked for 15 minutes after 5 failed login attempts. You may enable optional multi-factor authentication (MFA), and sensitive actions such as password reset require an AAL2 verification when MFA is enabled. Sessions expire after a period of inactivity for your protection.

4. Subscription Plans and Pricing

PetDetail offers the following subscription tiers:

• Basic Plan: Free forever — 1 pet profile, basic health tracking (vet visits, vaccines, weight, medication), unlimited reminders, emergency resources & pet safety guides, 1 provider, no document uploads, no AI-powered insights, no PDF exports, no early access to new features.

• Premium Plan: $9.99/month or $99/year — Unlimited pets, emergency resources & pet safety guides, unlimited documents with folder organization, unlimited PDF exports, AI Health Insights, priority support, and early access to new features.

Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled. All pricing is in USD and excludes applicable taxes.

7-Day Free Trial (Annual Plans Only)

Premium annual subscriptions include a 7-day free trial. Monthly subscriptions are billed immediately and do not include a trial. During the annual trial:

• You have full access to all plan features

• You will not be charged until the trial ends

• You can cancel anytime during the trial without being charged

• If you don't cancel, your annual subscription will automatically begin and billing will start at the end of the 7-day period

• The trial is available only for new subscribers to the Premium annual plan

5. Payment and Billing

Payment processing is handled by Stripe. By providing payment information, you authorize us to charge your selected payment method for applicable fees. Failed payments may result in service suspension until payment is resolved.

6. Cancellation and Refunds

7-Day Free Trial Period (Annual Plans Only):

• Cancel anytime during the 7-day trial without being charged

• Full access to all plan features during trial

• If not cancelled, the annual subscription automatically begins after the trial ends

Monthly Plans:

• Cancel anytime from account settings

• No prorated refunds for current billing period

• Access continues until end of billing cycle

Annual Plans:

• Cancel anytime during the 7-day trial without being charged

• No refunds once the trial period has ended and the first payment is processed

• If cancelled after the trial expires, the subscription will not renew automatically and access continues until the end of expiration of the annual subscription

• Cancel anytime from account settings

Refund Exceptions:

We provide refunds only for duplicate charges or unauthorized purchases (after investigation). Annual plans cancelled after the trial period has ended are not eligible for refunds. Trial period cancellations do not require refunds as no payment is processed during the trial. Refunds are processed to the original payment method within 5–10 business days.

7. User Content and Conduct

Content Uploads:

You may upload documents, photos, and other content related to your pets. You retain ownership of your content but grant PetDetail a license to store, process, and display it as necessary to provide our service.

Prohibited Content:

• Unlawful, threatening, abusive, or harassing material

• Pornographic, obscene, or sexually explicit content

• Graphic depictions of violence or animal cruelty

• Misleading, fraudulent, or deceptive information

• Content violating intellectual property rights

We reserve the right to remove violating content without notice. Report inappropriate content to hello@petdetail.com.

Document & Image Processing:

To provide features like previews, organization, and AI-powered background removal, we may process your uploads. Certain AI features (e.g., image background removal) run locally in your browser using open-source models loaded from Hugging Face; your pet photos are not transmitted to third-party AI inference services for this feature.

AI-Generated Content:

Premium subscribers have access to AI Health Insights powered by OpenAI's services. This feature analyzes your pet's health data to provide insights. Important: AI-generated content is for informational purposes only and should not replace professional veterinary advice. Always consult with a licensed veterinarian for medical decisions. You use AI features at your own discretion and risk.
